School Programs
1. Pre-School Learning (ages 2-6)*
Every weekday, pre-school children will receive 1 and ½ hours of focused instruction based on sound Early Childhood Education principles. Children can play with the many educational toys that have been selected to help them learn and develop active minds. They do crafts such as coloring, painting, sculpting, etc. Also, they learn and sing songs. They dance. Children in this age range must come with a parent or guardian. The parent may choose to study in the Adult Learning Program or may simply participate in the American Home Living and Excursions Program.
2. Elementary School Learning (ages 7-12)
Elementary aged children will join the Davis children for home school learning and activities every weekday. Approximately 2-4 hours is spent doing each day’s learning. The children are placed into a multi-age group to develop their language, social, and academic skills.
3. Teenager/Adult Learning (ages 13-113)
Study in the classroom with our highly qualified teacher and have homework and practical application opportunities outside of class time. Receive individualized instruction to meet your academic, work, or social goals.
Intensive (12-14 hours per day of focused, individualized learning)
Do you want to see quick improvement in your skills? The Intensive program is
the best for you. Students who plan to take the TOEFL, SAT, or GRE might choose this option. This is also the best option for those who want to master English in a short amount of time.
Tourist (shared experiences with individualized feedback)
Do you want to learn while you’re on vacation? You can still improve your
language skills, but you will not generally see as much progress as with the
other option.
Program Costs (per day)—Discounts may be given for signing up for two or more months. Additionally, returning students receive a bonus discount of 10%.
These costs include all meals and transportation.
